The old version of Mapquest is the most accurate way I have found to calculate mileage and fuel cost. I also use Gasbuddy to find the cheapest gas stations along the route. If your looking for things to do along the way, Here is a List of Parks I have used for nice places to stop. If you have AAA, you can now get travel guides as an ebook. I would love to find an all inclusive list of destinations close to the major highways:) Unfortunately there isn't any, I have found one for I75 and I95, as well as I5,10,15, and 40. Most all other highways you just have to google:) Since I don't know all highways, I've given you the main ones. Need a free and secure place to sleep for the night? We prefer Rest Stops , this is a comprehensive list of all rest stops including exit number and hwy number as well as which direction, ie. Northbound or southbound. Good Luck with your Travels!!!!!!
